International Festival FOTO FUTURE is a non-profit project.

The participation is FREE.

To participate in the project are invited photographers, video artist and filmmakers - professionals and amateurs.Take part in the festival may as citizens of Russia as citizens of other countries. Age of participants also doesn't matter.

Accepted for the competition as photo as video works

From each author may submit no more than 5 photos(either one unbreakable cycle of no more than 12 photos) and not more than 2 video works.

Deadline for submission of work: the end of January 2010.

The Subject of the Festival is «The Future».

What do you mean by that word? Maybe your future is your children or the future is high technology, or future means space, stars and planets, or perhaps you have already prepared a draft of the future at home, or are you lucky enough to own innovative ideas of the future, awaiting implementation ...

The selection of works produced by the organizers of the festival.The main criterion for the selection - the most complete disclosure of the theme "The Future".The selected works will be published on the site and participate in the contest with prizes from the partners of the festival.

Sections, categories and nomination of the International Festival "In the frames of the future» FOTO FUTURE 2009

Nominations in the category "Amateurs" (photo and video):

1. "Future in Present" - Series, photo or video works on the same topic.

2. Fantasy about the Future - collages, montages, video works created by any method (manual or computer).

3. «Humor» - jokes about the future.

Nominations in the category "Professionals" (photos and video):

1. "Future in Present" - projects, series, individual photos or video works on the same topic. Work can be done in the studio or on location.

2.«Fantasy about the Future»- Photo projects, series, individual photos or video works on the future, by any means (manually or on computer).

3.«Humor»- satirical and humorous photo and video projects, series, individual work.

How to participate

1. Register online at the Festival site www.fotofuture.ru. Select one or more photographs or video works that best reveal the theme of the Festival, and send them to e-mail:  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

2. All applications must be accompanied by a specification: Name of the author, year of birth of the author, home address, including zip code, telephone number, e-mail, photo file name, description of this photo, date photo. Also, you must specify the category, the direction and nomination, which must be placed your work.

Applications submitted without detailed information about the author will not be considered!

3. Response from the Organizers of the festival, about the participation of your work in the project, will be received within 10 days from the date of filing. If your work meets all the requirements, it will be posted on the website in the stated categories you.

4. Deadline for submission of work: the end of January 2010.

5. The jury of the festival, to be composed of well-known photographers and designers will choose the best work in the categories of "Amateurs" and "Professionals".

6. Public voting will take place in the categories of "Amateurs" and "Professionals". All participants and visitirs will be able to vote for as many liked to work in each of the categories and leave your comments.

7. Criteria for evaluation.

Works of amateurs are judged on the following criteria:
- The degree of disclosure topics
- Artistic quality

Works of professionals are judged on the following criteria:
- The degree of disclosure topics
- Artistic quality
- Individuality

8. The open vote and the work of the jury will conclude the three days before the exhibition.The exact date of the exhibition will be announced later.

9. The names of the winners of all nominations will be announced at the final event FOTO FUTURE 2009 - the exhibition, which will be organized at one of the most famous sites in Moscow! The final exhibition FOTO FUTURE 2009, the first time in Russia and the world, will be exhibited on PHOTOFRAMES!.

Photo requirements:

• file format - Jpeg
• file size - not more than 5 MB
• color model - RGB
• size of the image - at least 500h600 pixels, but not more 1200h1200 pixels.

Pictures in frames with captions will not be allowed to participate in the contest.
Please edit the image appropriately before you upload them to the site.

Requirements for video works:

Video works (files) must be placed in the following video sources: Youtube, RuTube, video.mail.ru and the like. Participant will send a link to a video file, after which the video work is placed on the project site by the site administrator.

Copyright

If the work has passed competitive selection, the author transfers rights to use photos or videos to the organizers of the festival.

Sending Your work to the contest You confirm availability you copyright provided work and agree that Your work can be used organizers to its promotion and information about the project (not for sale, not for commercial use).

In each work, participating in the project, in all cases listed below indicate authorship.

Under the transmission of photos and video means:

* Playback stills and video;
* Public display of photographs and video;
* Publication of all types of media, including electronic;
* Public broadcast;
* Cable broadcast;
* Bringing photos and videos to the public so that anyone can get access to photographs and videos from anywhere and at any time (available to the public).
